Frequently asked questions

Why is PCOS care so expensive without insurance?

PCOS requires multiple specialists (endocrinologist + dietitian + sometimes therapist) plus lab monitoring. Bundled telehealth platforms (Allara, Pollie) make the bundle cheaper than à-la-carte specialist visits, but still cost $99-$300/mo cash-pay.

Does insurance cover PCOS telehealth?

Allara, Tia, and Knownwell are in-network with major commercial plans. Cash-pay platforms (Pollie, Oana) do not bill insurance but are typically cheaper than uninsured rates at insurance-first providers.

Is inositol covered by HSA/FSA?

Yes, when prescribed by and licensed clinician for PCOS. The prescription requirement is what makes it eligible — OTC purchase without prescription is not reimbursable.
