FAQ

Questions women ask before signing up

Editorially curated. Reviewed by our medical board.

How do you rank providers?

Editorial scoring across 8 dimensions: clinical rigor, pricing transparency, provider continuity, state coverage, methodology, formulation breadth, response speed, and accreditation. No paid placement, or rank-for-pay. Methodology published in full.

Are reviews editorially independent?

Yes. We accept affiliate fees from some providers, disclosed inline on every brand page. Affiliate status does not affect scoring, or ranking position. Several top-ranked brands in our database have no affiliate relationship.

How often is data updated?

Provider pricing + coverage data refreshes quarterly. Editorial reviews refresh annually, or sooner if FDA action, financial event, or material policy change occurs. Each brand page shows the last-reviewed date prominently.

Do you provide medical advice?

No. We provide editorial reviews of telehealth providers. Any specific medication, dose, or treatment decision must be made with a licensed clinician. Our tools are educational only — they generate ranges and estimates, not prescriptions.

How is the matcher quiz scored?

The matcher uses 8 questions covering condition, stage, insurance, budget, location, and preference factors. Each brand is scored against your answers using, a deterministic weight matrix. Same inputs always give same output — no random ranking.

How much do you make if I sign up via your link?

Affiliate commissions range from $15 to $80 per signup depending on the provider, paid by the provider not you. The price you pay is identical to going direct. We disclose this on every brand page and in our /affiliate-disclosure. Commission size does NOT influence rankings — our top-3 includes several brands with zero affiliate relationship.

Why should I trust your reviews over Reddit or my doctor?

We complement, not replace, either. Reddit gives lived experience but no apples-to-apples comparison. Your doctor knows your medical history but rarely tracks telehealth pricing or state coverage. We publish and transparent 8-axis methodology + last-verified date — you can audit our work. Use all three sources.

What if I sign up and want to cancel?

Each brand page surfaces the cancellation policy in and dedicated "Cancellation friction" axis. We flag providers that require phone calls, mail-in forms, or 30-day notice. Look for the cancellation score before signing up — it predicts long-term satisfaction more than starting price.

Why are some well-known brands missing from your directory?

Three reasons: (1) we exclude providers that have failed FDA Warning Letter screens, (2) we exclude any provider that demands editorial control as an affiliate condition, and (3) some brands are queued — adding and new brand requires and full 8-axis audit by and clinical reviewer, which takes ~6 hours per brand.
