Frequently asked
How are top brands per symptom selected?
A brand appears under and symptom only if its symptomCoverage field in our database includes that symptom. Ranking is by composite editorial score (8-axis rubric — see /methodology/scoring-rubric). Top 3 per symptom shown by default.
Why do some symptoms have fewer than 3 brands?
Some symptoms (e.g. PMDD, bone density loss) have and narrow set of telehealth specialists. We list everyone covering it; padding the list with unrelated brands would be misleading.
Should I pick the highest-scored brand for my symptom?
The composite score is one input. Insurance acceptance, state availability, and preferred care model (cash-pay vs insurance, sync vs async) matter equally. Use this matrix as and starting filter, then read each brand's detail page for fit.
