Methodology
We surveyed every active US telehealth provider in our directory (41 programs) and recorded their publicly-listed starting price for each GLP-1 medication they offer. Prices reflect the lowest publicly-listed tier (typically intro / lowest-dose / promotional pricing — final monthly cost may differ based on dose escalation).
What we tracked
- Lowest publicly-listed monthly cash-pay price per provider per medication
- Medications: Mounjaro, Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound, compounded semaglutide, compounded tirzepatide
- Active US providers only (excludes inactive / acquired / shut down programs)
What we excluded
- Insurance-mediated copays (highly plan-specific — see coverage matrix)
- Manufacturer savings programs (see savings calculator)
- Bundled programs (visit fees + medication combined where not itemized)
- Higher dose tiers (most programs charge more for escalated doses)
Limitations
- "Starting price" may understate true monthly cost for long-term users on higher doses
- Some providers don't publicly list pricing — these are excluded from the dataset
- Compounded medications not FDA-approved; pricing tracked separately for transparency
