Also known as: hypoactive sexual desire disorder

Hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) is a persistent lack of interest in sex that causes distress. It is diagnosed only when the low desire is bothersome and not explained by relationship, medical, or medication factors.

Sexual desire is influenced by many hormonal and non-hormonal factors, so evaluation is individualized with a clinician.
