Estriol

Estriol (E3) is a low-potency estrogen. It rises markedly in pregnancy, when the placenta produces it, and is otherwise present at low levels.

Estriol appears in some compounded hormone preparations; formulations that are not FDA-approved carry the standard cautions that apply to compounded products.
